Customer Rating: Summary: Great gaming system and DVD player! Comment: I have had this PS2 for over four years and have never ever had any problem with it. It still plays games perfectly and plays DVDs perfectly as well. The loading time is a bit slow, but for this price, I can't even complain much about that. Even though there are more sophisticated gaming systems with better graphics, you can't go wrong with the Ps2.

I got mine used at my local pawn shop "used" and I have never had a problem with it!!! The things I like best about the "original" system is that it has the expansion bay and the built in fan to prevent overheating, its the only 6th generation game console thats still in production. There are some problems with the PS2, like if you play PSone games on it the PS2 will only play PSone games and not PS2 games (this has never happend to me but I've heard from friends), the newer games have really good graphics BUT they are really short and can be beat in a few hours and for some reason my PS2 dosen't play Midnight Club DUB Remix, each time I buy a copy it works for a week and then freezes up, the same thing happens to my friends system too!!! Overall this is a good reliable system and if you want a cheap game system that they still make games for then buy the PS2!!! Any future products being sold by Mr. Eastland that would be useful to me, I would definetely buy first if I could get that chance.
