Comment: I'm constantly using a broom with 3 kids. This broom sweeps nicely and folds up quickly, all with one hand. My only complaint, and minor one, is food will get stuck on the side of the dustpan. A little shake of the dustpan, and it all goes in the trash.

Summary: Best broom for pet hair - Doesn't stick like other brooms
Comment: I just bought a 2nd and 3rd broom for the other rooms of the house. This OXO broom has been so effective with dog hair that I've decided to use more of them around the house. This is the first inexpensive broom i've ever had that doesn't cling to dog hair, which makes it impossible to get into the dustpan, as anyone with pets would agree. For dog hair, the fancy neoprene brooms from the county fairs work great too, but they are long, bulky and don't work well with an upright dustpan.

Comment: Having been born on Halloween; I, like most witches, have had lots of experience with brooms. Being a wizened witch at the age of 93, I need a short, light-weight broom that fits my size and picks up litter with a minimum of sweeping. Hard as it is for me to bend over, I need a long-handled dust pan that does not tilt and spill the dirt. It even stores upright, in a small space. The Oxo Good Grips Upright Sweep Set is perfect for me. Perhaps it could even be ridden safely on my next full moon venture.

Comment: Nice set, good broom, no gaps under dustpan. However it is very short. I am 5'6" & have to bend over to use. The bristle part of the broom is not very wide either so if you have a large kitchen, I would not recommend. It would be perfect for a camper/trailer though.

Comment: Good value, as advertised. Ignore those people that complain that this set is short, etc. Those folks who write such comments are not aware that they are buying a "sweep set", all of which are shorter than a normal broom. This sweep set height is just like almost every other sweep set on the market, give or take an inch or two. Buy with confidence, but do not buy if you want, or need a full size broom.
