Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic Skates! Comment: I took figure skating lessons a couple of years ago, but I eventually quit. Now, I'm planning to start lessons again, but I didn't want to have to use the uncomfortable rental skates at the rink or pay $300 for a name brand pair. I was afraid that these skates would be terrible because they're so cheap, but they're great! They're probably the most comfortable skates I've ever worn, they offer plenty of support for beginner and intermediate figure skaters, and they're 1/15th the price of many skates of the same quality. The laces do come untied easily at first, but eventually, they get worn in.
