The gold-tone, round watch case has a slightly raised bezel that frames a white dial background with Arabic numerals and small minute indexes in black. It also features water resistance to 30 meters (100 feet), a supple brown leather strap, and a date display at 6 o'clock. Summary: My Timex--Long-time Friend
Comment: I wanted to get a battery for my former Timex. When it became impossible to replace the battery, I searched high and low to find a duplicate watch. Fortunately, I received an email from Timex that they had renewed the stock for the very watch that I have had for years. I ordered it and it came quickly and securely. I am very happy that I saw the ad and that I was willing to get the very same watch again.

Summary: Nice, but flimsy
Comment: The band was NOT too small for a normal sized adult woman, as has been previously stated. Once the band was a bit worn in, it's very comfortable and light enough that it doesn't interfere with movement.
I bought this a year ago, and unfortunately, the band is now broken. It wore out and just fell apart.
Also, it is not a moon phase watch. It just shows you AM/PM with a sun or moon graphic. It will NOT show you the outside moon phase, so if that's what you're after (as I was), sorry, no luck.

Comment: I purchased...then summarily returned. It was a moment in my life where I felt my age. Without my reading glasses I could not get my wrist far enough away from my eyes to read the face of this watch. Sad, but true. Amazon does not sell arm extenders.

Comment: I am surprised that after 10 years this Timex watch is still available. I purchased it again since it lasted over 8 years and is a beautiful long lasting watch.

Comment: I was looking for a moon phase watch... ie. a monthly showing of the different phases of the moon..
On this watch, the moon comes up at night and the sun in the day. It was also a smaller size watch than I was expecting.
