PEC*PADs are the ideal photo wipes for those who hate photowipes! Until PEC*PADs came along, photowipes fell apart, left lint and scratched emulsions. PEC*PADs are extremely strong, lint-free and so soft and pure (99.999%) it is almost impossible to scratch an emulsion with them. PEC*PADs are so soft they can be safely used to clean all types of sensitive surfaces : scanners, CD's, mirrors, lenses, telescopes etc. When PEC*PADs are used with PEC-12(r), they are ideally suited for cleaning photographic film and print emulsions. PEC*PADs are available in two convenient sizes. The 4 x 4 inch (10 cm.sq.) wipes are perfect for cleaning 35mm and other small areas; the 9 x 9 inch (25 cm.sq.) wipes are best suited for larger film or print formats, murals, scanners etc.

Summary: Use these to rewrap your swabs.
Comment: I use these to rewrap the swabs in the sensor swab kit. Works the same. around 6 uses out of each pad. Less than a penny for each swab if you rewrap. Works flawlessly. Kodak recommends pec-pad for sensors when they still made dslrs.

Summary: dirty lens beware
Comment: I take my camera everywhere- and am always bumping the lens with my finger when adjusting the filter or just putting the lens cap back on. There are many ways to ruin the perfect shot and by keeping that lens clean with the scratch proof cloth, I eliminated one more way to screw up the shot. The cloths are cheap enough that you can used them on a window when you are shooting through it in a public place. I just put a few in zip lock bag and keep it in my camera bag.

Comment: These work absolutely perfectly. These are a must have to keep your lenses and CCD clean. If you use these with the Eclipse Cleaning Solution you should have to problems. And they really are lent free.
