For anyone who has attended Josh Groban's phenomenal live show, you will have undoubtedly had the pleasure of seeing and hearing his lead violinist, Lucia Micarelli. Lucia came to Josh's tour after appearing with the Trans- Siberian Orchestra playing arenas across the U.S. in 2003. With the close of the second leg of Josh's tour, Lucia is recording her debut album in New York and London with producer Paul Schwartz. Musical selections will range from the works of composers Ravel and Ennio Morricone to David Bowie.

Summary: A Wonderful Palette of Variety
Comment: An excellent album full of variety: Contemporary instrumentals, classical pieces, traditional Celtic, show tune, rock, and more. Anything that Paul Schwartz touches is first rate and Lucia is blessed to be is such great company. If you love instrumental music you will listen to "Music from a Farther Room" often. Leigh Nash's unique voice graces the traditional song She is Like the Swallow. This is by far one of my favorite albums.

Comment: Ms.Lucia Micarelli is truly a gifted artist whom I am honored to have come across. Josh Groban gave her a huge advance in her career by putting her on his tour back in 2004. I think she is not only a talented artist, but is also a great person whom seems so down to earth. Lucia, keep making music please!

Summary: Music from a Father room by Luica Micrelli
Comment: I ordered the CD based on recommendation from a friend. The music is somewhat softer than expected. Good easy listening CD though. It is my first CD from this artist.

Comment: There is nothing like slipping this CD in while sitting in traffic and being taken to an entirely different place. Well engineered, well produced, this CD is a rich, satisfying experience, like good wine and expensive chocolate.
