Ginsu 04804 International Traditions 2-Piece Stainless Steel Carving Set provides a 5-inch fork--which holds a pork loin or rump roast still--and a 7-1/2-inch slicer for carving. Both fork head and blade are constructed from stainless steel and have full tangs that extend through lightweight bakelite handles and are triple riveted for strength. The slicer features a two-dimensional serrated edge that is symmetrically-cut on either side for more accurate slicing and for either right- or left-handed use. The edge is still as low-maintenance as ever and never requires sharpening. Ginsu covers this International Traditions cutlery and recommends manual cleaning with hot, soapy water to keep it in top shape

Comment: Product came new as ordered. Nice compliment to my other Ginsu set that I bought in a store. The knives of the set work great and have a nice weight to them. I only gave a 4 because I have not compared them to very expensive knives which I probably would never buy anyway. The Ginsu knife set and carving set are beautiful stainless steel. Do they rust? I don't know I don't put them in my diswasher I hand wash them. The dishwasher recks havoc on all dishes in my opinion and I only use it for glassware, plates, and common utensils not my good stuff or things I want to protect for a long time.
I recommend this set and the knife set if you come across them.
