Editorial Reviews:

Harissa is a fiery Tunisian blend, made predominantly from red-hot chilies, that is used as an accompaniment to a wide variety of foods. Mix one part of our harissa blend with two parts olive oil. (Adjust to create the consistency you desire.) Serve with crusty bread or pita bread, rice dishes and couscous. It is also a wonderful substitute for mustard and mayonnaise on sandwiches. Our Tunisian Harissa can also be sprinkled on meats, used generously on pizza or as a dry rub. Comes in our signature airtight tin, which measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter and 1-3/4 inches in height.

Summary: Tunisian Harissa
Comment: Tunisian Harissa is a Tunisian/Moroccan spice and herb blend, often used in tagine cooking. I have not had an opportunity to use this particular one yet. Fritz

Summary: this is a spice mix, not actual harissa
Comment: beware - this is a spice mixture only, not actual harissa

Not what I intended to order, but the ad wasn't clear.

Harissa as I ate it in North Africa was a pulpy mash of peppers and spices, some oil. Fantastic stuff.

I recommend Mustapha's Moroccan Harissa - it was terrific.
