Summary: Xylitol kills dogs (it almost killed mine)
Comment: I understand the value of Xylitol for dental care, but please, do NOT keep this product around if you have dogs. I have a $1500 vet bill from saving my dog, who pilfered and ingested a full pack of Trident gum with Xylitol. Use Trident White instead - it's Xylitol-free.

Comment: This is the best and most amazing gum around. It holds its flavor longer than any other gum that I've tried. It gives a refreshing, healthy cleaning after every eating. Due to this product's outstanding excellence of quality, and utility, I always have some at hand.
It is inexplicable and outrageous that the maker has ceased production of this superb product. It has gained a strong and permanent following of purchasers. I can only add my voice to the many other afficianados who are crying out in earnest, "Please bring it back!"

Summary: Xylitol Makes This One of the Best (Dental) Chewing Gum On the Market!
Comment: Trident uses a sugar-alcohol called Xylitol, a natural sugar that has no carbohydrate action, yet bacteria ingest the Xylitol and cannot metabolize it, thus starving the bacteria! Thus, with consistant use, it rids the mouth of harmful cavity-causing, gum-disease causing bacteria! This is truly a unique gum. One of the few gums that all dentists recommend!
Don't use this product if you suffer from TMJ - it will only aggravate your sore joints.
This is a great product for the average person, child or adult. Chew two to three pieces a day and your oral health will improve.
