The refillable, reusable coffee pad for the Senseo coffee machine. This is the Blue unit. The patented Blue Ecopad is environmentally-friendly and has many advantages, like: Your favorite brand coffee at a low price. This is a great original model discontinued now. Works with finely ground teas. Handy when you're out of paper pads. Long life and durable. Dishwasher safe.

Summary: This works
Comment: These pods work. You need to pack them tight if you like your coffee strong and need to limit the amount of water (use the smallest cup size on your machine). They clean easily. Great for families with different taste in coffee flavors. Much cheaper than trying to keep up with the commercially complete pods.

Summary: I'm saving so much money!
Comment: Since I only drink my coffee black, I'm kind of picky about my coffee. I just don't love the prepackaged pods. These reusable pods are durable, easy to use and clean so they won't clog your machine which I've heard from friends other products have done. These are the best and still make the foam on the top of your perfect cup of coffee!

Summary: Makes a weak brew unless you want to spend all day on it
Comment: I'm really unimpressed with these. They simply require too much work to get an even moderately strong cup of coffee from. If you don't grind to a super-fine coal-dust level, then pack it in, you get brown water. So, you spend so much time prepping, it'd just be easier to either 1)Brew a big pot of coffee in the morning and put it in a thermos or 2)just stick to the pods. I am going back to the pods, I can always compost them when I'm done so I don't feel bad about paper waste.

Comment: It does the job, but it is work packing it with coffe because there is no easy way to do it without making a little mess and having to clean the outside of the holder before you use it. Clean up after using it is a little hassle too because you have to get every little bit of coffee out and off of it. It misses the point of having a pod machine because it's now more work than just haveing a regular coffee maker. The whole process seems to not be worth the trouble unless you have a coffe you absolutely must have. There are dozens of excellent coffees out there (forget Senseo brand) in pod form if you search on the net. Half the fun of having a pod machine is trying different coffees.

Comment: Unfortunately, it doesn't work. The coffee cup is VERY WEAK no matter how tight or loosely you pack it. You may as well spend the money on the actual Senseo pods. It was very disappointing.
