Summary: Back rest not so restful
Comment: I was disappointed with how uncomfortable this back rest is. I am shorter and the back rest curvature is not very flexible or fitting to someone of my height. For me, it was a waste of a lot of money.

Comment: I bought this backrest for my mom who lives in another state. I asked her if she uses it and whether or not she felt that it was working for her needs and she said she does use it and that she likes because of the massager and it is better for her back when she sits up in bed. It provides her with better back support than her old traditional backrest pillow due to the higher back and firmer support of the material

Comment: I wanted something so I could relax and read in bed before I went to sleep. This is not the thing if that's what you want to do. It is too upright and you can't change the angle to recline. The cup holder is in the perfect place for an elbow if you want a hard plastic object under your elbow while you're trying to read. I was really surprised at the hard lump in the lower back area that's supposed to be a massager. It is so close to the surface and so hard it feels like a rolling pin being jabbed into my back. It is pretty, just basically unusable for relaxing.
