Comment: I have had my shears for the past 4 years and bought 3 more pair to give as gifts this past Christmas. The recipients absolutely love them - and, along with myself, want another pair as they are always in the dishwasher!

Comment: absolutely great. best value for the money . recommend without reservation. but suggest hand wash as on my first set the plastic handles cracked after a year or two probably from the heat of the dishwasher. even so at this price worth replacing every two years

Comment: I've had these scissors for about a year now and use them at least once a week. On the upside they do come apart for cleaning, which is great if you use them for things like cutting up a chicken before frying. The blade is reasonably sharp and will cut cleanly through everything from paper to tough plastic packaging. The bottle opener is handy and works well too. But on the downside the handle is not very ergonomic and will put strain on your thumb when bearing down on it. So for my kitchen this pair does the light stuff only. The Fiskars are called upon when I have tough cutting or a lot of cutting.

Summary: Great All-Purpose Kitchen Shears
Comment: I use kitchen shears in the kitchen for countless uses and my old ones broke so I was in the market for a new set. I read the reviews for this pair and decided to give them a try. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and heavy these kitchen shears were. They fit nicely in my hand and do not pinch my hand upon closing.
The shears are equipped with a gripper section for opening jars, the end is designed to be a screwdriver on one side and a bottle opener on the other. I have to say that I don't use my shears for those uses but they are nice to have in case you do need them.
A very nice feature is that the blades come apart with ease for cleaning, especially handy if you use yours for cutting poultry.
I've used mine for cutting open packages, bags, cutting produce, cutting through poultry and trimming meat. They rip through meat as easily as they do paper.
These shears are fantastic and absolutely the sharpest scissors that I own.
They also come with a full lifetime guarantee.
I highly recommend and would purchase over again.

Summary: Great scissors
Comment: I requested and received these scissors as a gift a couple of years ago. I have been very pleased with them. They are still incredibly sharp. When I use them on messy things (raw poultry), I just take them apart and wash them.
They also come in handy opening shipping boxes. I use the bottle opener at the handle-end of the scissors, and it easily slices through packaging tape to open a box.
Very pleased with these scissors and would recommend them to anyone.
