The only problem I find with this lipstain is that it does not actually stain the lips. I wish it did because it doesn't last long. Need to keep applying it throughout the day. I was not terribly impressed with any of the formulations or colors (enough to make me switch from my current favorites, that is) ... until I came across the Lipstain Lipstick. The second I applied it to my lips, I felt my lips scream and applaud from the inside out. The stick felt like soft, melted sweet butter going on, and it stayed smooth and moist for hours.
Because it is so sheer, it requires relatively frequent touch-ups (no more than once an hour unless you eat). This is no deterrent to me, however, because I'm continually adding moisture to my lips all day, anyway (adding (Badger Lip Balm on top of whatever color my lips are wearing). I won't have to do that now.
I was so immediately taken, I purchased Genasei and Cherry for me, and I picked up two in Nude for my mother. Vincent Longo's Lipstain Lipstick may just have risen to the top of my lip makeup list, usurping NARS Lipstick in Gipsy and Make Up For Ever Fascinating Lip Gloss in #4, as my former favorites.

Comment: I am extremely picky about what I wear on my lips - both for color and for texture. I found that this lipstick in nude was the absolute perfect shade for me, and the texture was just so smooth - it glides on your lips and feels really hydrating and creamy, and not thick or sticky. It feels very light. It's not at the top of my list for staying power, but that's okay because it's such a pleasure to put on, I don't mind having to do that a couple of times throughout the day. This is the one Vincent Longo product I would recommend to others.
