Customer Rating: Summary: It doesn't work Comment: I received my chocolate fountain in September 2007 after it had been delivered to the wrong house. I didn't try to use it until December and found out it didn't work. I have tried to contact Rival about this problem and I haven't heard from them. I'm pretty sure this is a great item but I will never know because it doesn't work. First time we used it we had 21 High School girls @ the house for a party! Whew! They were pretty much blown away!
It was very easy to set up - I followed the directions - and even easier to clean! I elected to do this by hand (even though it says you can do it in the top rack of the dishwasher). It was easy to clean - almost like a "silverstone" coating on many of the parts.
Once I started melting the chocolate (in the microwave) in batches I poured them into the bottom of the fountain and voila! It flowed for over 2 hours straight, until I turned it off, without a hitch! I would highly recommend this particular machine - worked like a champ - plan to use it for dessert @ our next Bunco!!! It is a little bit noisy, but certainly not loud enough for it to be a major draw back.

I would definately recommend this product. It is a great value. Your guests will get a real kick out of this! Loads of fun. Customer Rating: Summary: Bad Customer Service by this company Comment: Got the product, and when it is turned on, it makes a very loud noise. When I tried contacting the company to get an RA number, I was first disconnected, and then connected to another customer also trying to return a product. I called back several more times, only to be disconnected after waiting 15 minutes or so on hold. I tried contacting them by email, only to be told to call the phone number I had been calling repeatedly for over 2 hours.
I don't know if the product does work, and it is just this one that is defective, but after my experience with this company, I'm not sure I really want to find out.
