Summary: Homemade Ice Cream the Easy Way
Comment: We like our Cuisinart ice cream maker so much that we ordered a second freezer bowl. We have owned several ice cream makers in the past, but the Cuisinart method of freezing the bowl before making the ice cream has minimized the fuss. We can make two batches in less time than the other makes can produce one.

Comment: Having an extra freezer bowl stored in your freezer makes ice cream making easy. Great for parties when you need more than two quarts of ice cream. Great when you want to make two flavors of ice cream or make ice cream on two consecutive days. The extra money is well spent.

Summary: excellent item - WAY over-priced
Comment: just bought the Cuisinart Pure indulgence ice cream maker at Sam's for 49.00 - don't understand why freezer bowl by itself is sooooo expensive. Most people will want an extra freezer bowl, cause it takes 6 - 8 hours for bowl to freeze properly, and if you are having a party, you would definitely need more than two quarts!
