Comment: Bought this for the car parked outside. Programming was piece of cake, just read the directions in the pamphlet or on the garage opening motor [which I did].
3 steps
1. Press and HOLD the open button on the remote
2. Press and RELEASE the purple button [I forgot what they called it]
3. Release the remote button ONCE the garage openers' LIGHT comes on.
Make sure you reprogram the old remotes at the same time so they all work on the same code, frequency, or what-not.
Excellent seller as well, brought it from "ASPDOORS & A WHOLE LOT MORE"

Summary: Great extra Garage door opener
Comment: Purchased as a third opener, the 371LM was identified as a replacement to the 2 original remotes 953CD-Security+. Nice and compact with clip. Instructions to activate remote on unit with 'purple' button on motor unit, easy to follow and it was fully functional within seconds.Price was less than half the selling price at local hardware supplier.
Nice to get a bargain.

Summary: Could not make this product work!! :(
Comment: I spent almost an hour trying to make this remote work. I tried testing the battery, taking it apart and re-assembling it all to no avail. In the end I went to Sears and bought one that worked instantly.
