I am usually a size 1/2 and I got the size 4. It fits snugly at the waist, if I wanted to wear the skirt lower (on the hips) I would need a size 6. (Either way would look beautiful.) Also, the skirt is machine washable, but shrinks in the wash, and then the area around the embroidery gets quite pinched and wrinkled-looking. It definitely requires ironing after washing.
The color of the off-white skirt is actually a very light khaki/tan color.
But I love it and would almost consider buying a second one!
