Customer Rating: Summary: Fresh and lovely Comment: I bought this product as a gift for my 14 year old niece and she loves it! I must confess that I thought it was charming too, so I bought myself one (I'm 40) and I used it off and on throughout last summer. There are two ends to "Perfect Pair," and they work very well together. The lip gloss side has a soft pink color that is barely noticeable on my lips, but it is very moisturizing and tastes a bit like bubblegum (not too sweet though, very mild). The fragrance is dispensed using a rollerball, which I really appreciate as you can use a little or a lot. The scent reminds me very much of a more sophisticated version of "Love's Baby Soft" which my friends and I loved in 8th grade! (I wonder if Vera Wang did this consciously, knowing that the scent would appeal to both teenage girls AND to their mothers?)
In any case "Princess" falls into the category of "soft Oriental" fragrances, with notes of vanilla, apricot, guava, Tahitian flower, tuberose, chocolate, and amber. (If you want the total composition of this scent check it out on the Sephora website, where it also lists such esoteric ingredients as "Pink Frosting Accord," "Forbidden Woods," and "Royal Musk Captive"). I would characterize this scent as light, playful, fresh and fun; at just $25, a great buy as well. This is that rare beauty product that you and your favorite teenager can both enjoy!
